Cannabidiol or CBD comes from the cannabis plant just like marijuana.
This plant contains among other compounds CBD (Cannabidiol) and THC (Tetrahydrocannabidiol), the latter is the only psychoactive substance in the plant.
The plants richest in CBD and least in THC are the ones commonly known as Industrial Hemp. CBD is not marijuana.
Hemp is a plant that has generally been used by humans to make textiles, paper, in construction, medicinally and therapeutically. The Egyptians, ancient China and Japan, for example, are cultures in which there is evidence of its medicinal use since the dawn of mankind.
Our logo is one of those evidences, it is a cave painting in which a hemp drying shed is drawn and it is dated about 5000 years ago and was found in Northern Europe.
Hemp is currently used for commercial purposes, does not need much water, is easy to grow, ideal for transition crops, and reduces CO2 pollution in the atmosphere. According to studies, industrial hemp absorbs more CO2 per hectare than any cash crop or forest.
Hemp is rich in cannabinoids, but it is poor in THC (Tetrahydrocannabiol) among which we can find CBD, CBDA, CBDN, CBG, CBC, so far according to Wikipedia, some 113 cannabinoids have been identified
CBD can be extracted from any cannabis plant, although in general the most commonly used are the varieties that contain the least THC.
Differences between CBD and marijuana.
As we have explained, CBD (Cannabidiol) is a part of the plant that does not produce psychoactive effects, while THC (Tetrahydrocannabidiol) does.
This allows us to deduce that marijuana and CBD are somewhat different even though they come from the same plant.
The different varieties are:
Although recreational marijuana is illegal, in the United States some states have legalised it for medical use, but it is not yet approved as a medicine except in some cases.
When THC enters your body it stimulates the endocannabinoid receptors in the brain, this stimulation has different effects, it affects pain relief and appetite, CBD also has beneficial health effects, as supported by numerous medical and scientific studies, relieves pain, is anti-inflammatory, acts on the immune system, is neuroprotective etc..., but instead does not produce psychoactive effects. It can be used in cosmetics to moisturise and protect the skin, as an ointment and the most common form is currently CBD oil or CBD cannabis extract.
WHAT IS CBD OIL
Hemp oil contains compounds known as cannabinoids, one of which is CBD (also called cannabidiol). CBD is found in Cannabis sativa. CBD is one of more than 100 natural compounds found in the plant.
Our CBD oil comes from the hemp plant, a member of the cannabis family. It is completely legal as it contains no more than 0.2% THC - another natural component that is responsible for the psychoactive effect when concentrated in high doses.
Due to the low amount of THC present in our oils, they have no psychoactive effect and are completely legal.
CBD works with your endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system is an endogenous system made up of a vast network of receptors and chemical compounds within the body, which maintain the balance (homeostasis) between your body and your mind.
CBD has the potential to restore overall balance by stimulating cannabinoid receptors related to inflammation, pain, anxiety and more.
Hemp oil and anxiety. Numerous studies have found CBD to be an ally against anxiety.

What differences can we find in our different types of CBD oil or extracts?
Isolate (This oil comes from the Sativa L strain, is extracted by the supercritical CO2 method and separated so that it contains only CBD). You can find it in different concentrations, 5%, 10%, 20% and 30%.
Broad Spectrum (This oil comes from the Sativa L strain, it is extracted by the supercritical CO2 method and separated so that it only contains cannabinoids and no THC). You can find it in different concentrations, 5%, 10% and 20%.
Full Spectrum (This oil comes from the Sativa L variety, is extracted by the supercritical CO2 method and contains all the cannabinoids including THC, always below 0.2% as required by current legislation in Spain. You can find it in 10% concentration, if you are looking for another concentration, please contact us.
